The new version of Hub 2 comes with an LTE cellular module, allowing connectivity to 3G and LTE networks. If intruders break into your home, Hub 2 (4G) will send photos from MotionCam motion detectors and alert the security patrol. You don’t need to live under constant video surveillance to understand why the alarm was triggered.

Hub 2 (4G) works with MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor motion detectors. Upon detecting movement, they take a series of photos, allowing real-time assessment of the situation. This prevents unnecessary worry for users and eliminates unnecessary security patrol dispatches.

Motion detectors can react not only to real threats but also to everyday mishaps. If a nanny returns from school with children and forgets to turn off the alarm, the security system would normally trigger an alert. Always Connected

Hub 2 (4G) reliably transmits alarm signals and photos from the protected premises using one of its communication channels: Ethernet or one of two SIM cards. These channels work simultaneously and back each other up in case of emergencies.

Instant photo verification delivery is guaranteed even with weak internet connections, thanks to advanced data transmission and compression protocols. Unlike surveillance cameras, Ajax allows you to assess the situation even with connection speeds as low as 0.5 kbit/s.

Resistant to Any Threat

If a detector malfunctions, is removed from its mount, is damaged, or has its casing tampered with, you and the security company will be immediately notified. Even in the event of a sudden power outage, Ajax Hub 2 (4G) will continue operating thanks to its backup battery.

Constantly Evolving

Hub 2 (4G) runs on OS Malevich, a real-time operating system. Similar operating systems are used in spacecraft, ballistic missiles, and automotive braking systems—technologies where failure is not an option.

OS Malevich is immune to viruses and protected against cyberattacks. Its architecture allows Ajax to expand its capabilities, with regular updates delivered over the air in seconds—no user intervention required.

Jeweller

The Hub 2 (4G) control panel communicates with security system devices via radio over distances of up to 2000 meters.

The two-way Jeweller protocol encrypts transmitted data. If interference is detected or jamming is attempted, Ajax automatically switches to a free radio frequency and notifies both you and the security company about the situation.

Wings

For graphic data transmission, Hub 2 (4G) and MotionCam use Ajax Wings—a high-speed data transfer protocol based on Jeweller, inheriting its best qualities. Wings utilizes a dedicated antenna in Hub 2 (4G) to enhance communication reliability.

Wings guarantees photo delivery even under unstable signal conditions or network disruptions, thanks to built-in verification and packet reloading algorithms.

Automating a Secure Home and Office

Use automation scenarios to make the security system not only notify you of threats but actively counter them. Set up night mode on a schedule, turn off office lights when the system is armed, program floodlights to turn on when outdoor motion sensors detect movement, or create an automatic leak prevention system. The system executes scenarios even if the connection to the Ajax Cloud server is lost.
