General Description The EN54 FireProtect (Heat) is a specialized wireless fire safety device that combines the functions of a heat detector and a powerful sounder. This model is designed for environments where smoke detectors are limited due to dust, steam, or kitchen fumes. The device is fully certified according to European standards EN 54-3, EN 54-5, and EN 54-25.

Operating Principle and Notification The detector is equipped with two high-precision thermistors that constantly analyze the air temperature. An alarm is triggered when the 60°C threshold is exceeded or in the event of an abnormally rapid temperature rise (rate-of-rise function). Upon detecting a threat, the built-in 85 dB siren activates immediately, providing enough volume to wake a sleeping person or drown out machinery noise.

Reliability and Synchronization The device utilizes the Jeweller radio protocol for stable communication with the hub at a range of up to 1,700 meters. A key feature is the "Interconnected Alarm" support: if one heat detector senses danger, the built-in sirens of all Ajax fire detectors on the premises will activate within 20 seconds.
